Join me for this three-part, 90-minute dive into cold process soap making! I'll provide an overview of the cold process method and lye safety. Then we'll dive into how to formulate your perfect bar. The oils that you select determine the properties of your bar - how much it lathers, how that lather feels - how cleansing and moisture-rich your bar is - all are determined by those base oils.
Once we're through that discussion it's demo time! I'll ask you to hold your questions until after I make the basic loaf. I'll demonstrate an easy drop swirl with a tried and trued recipe. I'll provide that recipe, along with some of my other favorites. We'll talk about slicing and curing.
After that it's on to the Q&A - the last 30 minutes of this interactive learning session will focus on answering all the questions the demonstration sparks for you…
